My name is Miles (1998), I'm an Amsterdam-based multidisciplinary creator and thinker. Currently in my studies (BA) Fashion Design at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). 5 years ago I started in Fashion & branding which resulted in conceptual and visual work over the years. After doing a minor in 3D Hypercraft in which I developed my knowledge of (digital and physical) design and pattern drawing, I decided to fully transfer to fashion design. I took a step back and started in year two of fashion design. Since then, I have been fully committed to shaping and manifesting my design identity. My passion and love for design are driven by the possibility to create tangible and moving poetry. Combining design knowledge with conceptual and visual skills from the past years I attempt to distinguish myself in a hybrid approach to a creative process. 

 

In design, I look for a balance between elegance and a raw aesthetic. My work and inspiration are full of contrasts. My work is a reflection of me. Therefore, I experience the process of creating as self-development. 

I've always been eager to learn, I trust the process.
